On this project, our groundworks and drainage team were tasked with a variety of work. Ranging from site preparation, excavation and drainage diversion to the installation of the new sewage treatment plant.
The first task was the excavation at the rear of the barn. Allowing us to reduce the ground height ready for the foundations of the new extension.
Once the ground was prepared, we started on drainage diversion. With the pipework in the final locations, we began working on the installation of the sewage treatment plant. The sewage treatment plant was to serve both the existing house and the barn.
With the drainage complete, our team started working on the excavation and concreting of the foundations. Once the substructure and blockwork were complete we set up the internal drainage. Following this, the concrete sub-floor was completed and ready for the new extension. |
