At this job in Harberton, Devon, we carried out the installation of a shared sewage treatment plant and pump outlet chamber which serves six properties in its hamlet.
In order to install the new system, we had to divert the existing foul line to the position of the new tank, which went through both gardens and driveways. Our team also installed new power cables for the treatment plant system.
Due to the high river levels nearby, and parts of the grounds being at risk of flooding, we used an external pump unit to pump the treated effluent to the river.
Upon completion of the treatment plant installation, our team reinstated the soil and seeded the ground. A new gravel border was also laid around the tank to ensure easy access for maintenance.
As this is a shared treatment system, there were a few simple issues which arose, however our specialists were able to work around these issues and complete the job on time. |
